One of the advantages of advancing age is the time available to sit and think. Why, How, Who, When.
A little like a detective mystery story. During all this thinking I helped put together several web sites. One telfordcomputers.com became the home for massive collection of spares for computers. It is updated at least one a week to this day. If you can't find a part you only need to ask and someone will help you out.
This was the result of quite a bit of quiet reflection. Then of course someone said Why not books so, Hey Presto 409b.com was brought to life. With access to a million and more books with thousands of them free this soon became a labour of love.
Things then got rather silly and went from bad to worse. We have Hardware and Books! What about Software, Films and Games?
We had already put together an Article Directory Site some years ago and this has been increasing in popularity as time has passed. Along with the sites on Anxiety, Baby showers and Future book releases no one could figure out how to hold them together. They didn't seem to have a common theme. Something was going to have to go.
Hence the thinking.....
I should point out that Google and I had a falling out years ago. They don't approve of URL's in postings. Tuff. I've got on very well without them. Soooo TelfordComputers.com runs spares operation why not let it act as a portal for everything else. Each site can be accessed individually or one can jump over to look at software or a film or books without leaving the site. Good thought?? Only time will tell.
